The Campo Largo I Wind Complex, in the city of Sento Sé, northern region of the state of Bahia, is phase one of the Campo Largo project.

 

This initial phase corresponds to 326.7 MW of installed capacity of 121 wind turbines of 2.7 MW distributed across 11 wind farms.

 

The construction first started in 2016 and was completed once the last farm became operational in December 2018. The wind farms’ license permit is valid thru 2052

 

Wind farms’ construction resulted from a massive investment from Engie Group, the Campo Largo complex will be the group’s largest global project.Engie Group, the Campo Largo complex will be the energy company's largest in the world.
